The Process Environment Block (PEB) holds a list of all loaded modules ( InLoadOrderModuleList , InMemoryOrderModuleList , etc.). The INJ_UNLINK_FROM_PEB flag instructs the injector to remove the module's entry from these critical lists. This makes the DLL invisible to many standard module enumeration techniques, effectively "unlinking" it from the process's view.
