Set in a middle-class neighborhood in Pune, the story follows four teenage friends — Avya, Bhagya, Chiu, and Dolly — who are intensely curious about sex, as most adolescents are. Their curiosity is piqued when a beloved older sister-figure from their chawl suddenly leaves in disgrace under mysterious circumstances involving a pregnancy. Unable to get honest answers from the adults in their lives, who are uncomfortable with the topic, the friends turn to the neighborhood school dropout, Vishu, for answers.
