Gnarls Barkley's sophomore album, (2008), continued their experimental approach, pushing the boundaries of hip hop and soul. The album featured the hit singles "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" (although this was a cover and the original version was recorded by The Pop Pearls, but got much airplay) and "You Don't Love Me (You Don't Care)".
