Born in the outskirts of , Tigerr (real name Tigerr “Tig” Benson ) grew up surrounded by traditional folk music and the rhythmic clatter of dockworkers. By age 14, he was already remixing cassette‑tape recordings on a battered Akai MPC his older brother salvaged from a junkyard. A scholarship to the Lumen Academy of Arts in the capital city introduced him to electronic production, visual storytelling, and—most importantly—the power of branding.
