v0.4 was the only build where players reported seeing other player ghosts —not as avatars, but as shadowy figures with their own Syn meters visible above their heads. If two players’ Syn meters synced (both at 88.8, for instance), they would hear each other’s microphones for exactly six seconds. No communication was ever recorded from these exchanges—only heavy breathing, static, or a whispered: “Don’t trust the postman.”
