Alongside his fiercely loyal best friend Firoz (Bhuvan Arora), Sunny successfully prints fake currency that bypasses standard detection. However, their quick rise into the criminal underworld catches the eye of Mansoor Dalal (Vijay Sethupathi), a ruthless, smooth-talking kingpin who operates an international counterfeiting syndicate.

The story follows (Shahid Kapoor), a disillusioned, hyper-talented artist struggling to keep his grandfather's struggling newspaper, Kranti Kranti , afloat. Disgusted by the financial inequality in the country, Sunny, along with his best friend Firoz (Bhuvan Arora), decides to use his artistic talents to create fake currency notes.
