Long-time fans remember the piano puzzle. In Part 1, Tifa attempts to play the piano herself. Unlike Cloud, she stumbles on the keys, creating dissonant chords. The game (or interactive story) flashes a memory: a young Tifa watching her mother play this very piano. The memory is warm, then it cracks. The screen glitches, and the keys are now covered in dust and what appears to be dry rust.
