After her first encounter with "Ape-man," she declares that the only physical difference between men and women are men's "inferior boobs". This confusion sets the stage for a series of "educational" encounters. Her "shame" might not be what she did, but rather what she didn't know, making the film's title a tongue-in-cheek commentary on Jane's naivety rather than a reflection of actual taboo acts.
