For many players, v1.20 represented the peak of the game’s DLC support before it transitioned toward its final major updates (v1.22) in April 2020. It added significant value to the roster through the Gust collaborations and improved the grind for new players by temporarily boosting reward rates.

The search for is ultimately a search for a ghost. Codex is gone (the group disbanded in 2022). Corepack still exists but operates in a gray, increasingly dangerous part of the web. Version 1.20 is obsolete—the retail game is on 1.22 (or 1.30 if you count the defunct arcade version).

In early 2026, a definitive version was announced for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, scheduled for release on June 25, 2026 .
